Is there any way to configure FireFox/IE or Acrobat so that if I click a Link to a PDF file it will NOT open the PDF file within the browser but will Launch Acrobat separately and open the PDF files jsut as if I had downlaoded it and double clicked it?

I always have trouble trying to view PDF files within the browser because it loads and then hangs up and never works right.

I preimarily use FireFox so that's the one I'm most converned with.

Thanks.

I was going to post about how poorly acrobat 6 and Firefox get along when I found this thread. I've yet to open a pdf and not have firefox hang.

As biostud said, you can disable it in Acrobat.
