I would NEVER use the printer, I need a cheap scanner.

Does this printer have any FEATURE that after the cartriges get a certain age everything stops working? I read that some all in one's are now disabling everything when it deems the ink has expired.

Just curious if anyone knew if this one would do that or not?

That's really cheap. Just pick it up. What's the worst that could happen? You'd be out $24 which isn't anything for an All-In-One printer. I have a Lexmark All-In-One that I didn't use in 6 months and I just tried to print a MIR and it couldn't cus I guess the ink cartridges got clogged up or something so I guess you should print something regularly to keep them clean. I tried cleaning them but am having to go buy new cartridges.
