Any work being done on working out softmodding Keplers to Quadros for 3D work?

I've read in the past of softmods that increased performance as much as 50% in programs such as 3ds Max with the GeForce series. But that was a couple of years ago. Somehow through software they "tricked" the GeForce into acting like a Quadro.
 
Can't softmod a gaming card, castrated of any real compute performance, into a workstation/compute card.
 
The only pro card from Kepler at this point is the Tesla version of the 690. I'm not sure you can even DL drivers for it yet, even if there was a reason for you to softmod a 690. There are no Quadro 670/680 cards yet, AFAIK.
