Any Wordpress users here?

I'm trying to install Wordpress in my root directory, but I keep getting an error. It works great if I install it in a subdomain, however. I'm using ixwebhosting.com as my host if that helps any. Either it gives me a PHP error or it says db host not found, which is strange because if I swap it over to a subdirectory everything is peach. I've heard there's a .htaccess trick for fixing this but I haven't found it yet...so, any suggestions?

I have my WordPress installed to a root directory. However, it has been a long time since I did it.

I believe that I installed it to a subdirectory and then moved the index file to the root directory and made some simple edits. Unfortuneately, I can no longer remember exactly what I needed to change.

Sorry, can't help you. Running WordPress on a Windows server has enough problems of it's own.

Why not just install it in it's own directory and put a autoredirect index page in the root?
