Any word on SimCity 5?

Give me an updated SimTower!!

I would absolutely love an updated Sim Tower! That game was so addictive and I played the hell out of it back in the day...now I can barely get it to work on Windows 7 64-Bit

I judge games on their merits, not on some cry-baby notion of how I feel about a publisher.

Ignoring business practices completely, EA hasn't made even one remotely decent game in years. Why would they randomly start now?

Yeah I was introduced to SimCity on the SNES as well. I was instantly hooked when I saw the box on the shelf.

I'd love to see a SimCity 5...with computing power having grown so much even from SimCity4, it has so much potential...

I remain hopeful we'll see something along these lines

Not a Maxis game but it looks like Monte Cristo is closing the MP part of Cities XL and launching a SP only version of Cities XL 2011 http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/news/5...r-Mode-Shutting-Down-Cities-XL-2011-Announced

Not sure if that is good or bad
