Any word on ATI's new integrated 9600?

Like the IGP9100, there was rumour about an IGP9600.....

Anyone heard anything on that front?

Haven't seen anything yet. I wouldn't expect much out of it though. The 9100 wasn't even as fast as nVidia's integrated GF4 MX440 despite being a better core on paper. As of the current moment, probably all the integrated solutions are limited to 6.4GB/s bandwidth, and that bandwidth must be shared with the CPU as well.

THG 9100IGP review. Sorry it's from THG, but it does have comparisons to nVidia's integrated MX440 and intel's "extreme graphics."

Well... still nothing on the IGP9600. And I wouldn't be too surprised if the performance increase is minimal - like a 9600 non-pro is now (not much better than a GOOD 8500/9100!) with DX9. Still, I'd take it for free!

That said, doesn't nVidia have a new nForce in development?
