any WinMX users? pls help. I can't connect

I don't know why i can never connect to the server,

in the beginning where it scanned for my TCP connection, i simply did it manuelly (I just used the ports number 6699 and 6257 they provided) since I am on a LAN which I do not rely it for internet connection.
did I do something wrong on that step?

as far as I know, those ports are just for uploading.. if I want to share files I just have to open those two ports.. other then that, I can connect fine through my XP firewall..

Not sure what the problem would be..

Make sure you have the latest version, 3.30.

All previous versions have been disabled.

i had the 3.30 already. and installed WinMX for the very first time (no previous installation)

I had a LAN going on, but then I disable my network card (so in effect it disabled the LAN right?) and tried WinMX's "Connect Wizard" again. but I still cannot get the "TCP connection" configured. :? :? :? :?



hey, nfGTI, how's Kazaa lite? is it working good?

Kazaa Lite is good but why can I only find 128Kbps version of MP3s??
