Any Windows 8.1 "window snapping" software?

I've grown used to snapping windows to the left and right, but it only does half left/right snaps. Is there an app that will allow me to customize window snapping to say left 50% snap, then on the right 50% set up a top and bottom snap (25% each).

I use and swear by Fastone Capture. love the way it allows you to draw arrows very easily and capture in any form you want:

Edge snapping and window resizing are 2 different things.

Aquasnap is free and can snap to more positions (including 1/4 or 25%) than the default Aero snap.

EDIT: Was going to try them out but Aquasnap was first and it's perfect. Simple to use and that's all i'm after. Thanks !

so how is Aqua Snap different than the regular snapping in Windows 8.1?

regular windows snapping only lets you do left and right. just two options.

with aquasnap, you can do left, right, top, bottom, and each corner (will take up a quarter of the screen).

this will work perfectly when i get a 1440p monitor in the coming months! 🙂
