I'll try to get some estimates tomorrow, but I thought I'd see if anyone here had a rough idea.

I do have a general idea of what I should expect..and it's less than that. :p

If it helps any, we can do the milling work on all the parts -- all we'd need is the bends & welds done.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was $3-$400 for welding and bending, if you are going to get it TIGed.

pirate4x4 is the place to ask. rock sliders usually aren't to expensive, its the material that going to get you. steel is crazy expensive now.

I did...turns out you were a lot closer than I expected. One length (21ft) of 2" 0.25 stainless 304 is $450! :Q Though I don't need .25 -- even if it were half price, that's about $500 in material cost alone. I might just go with schedule 40 steel...should be a /lot/ cheaper. I just need to find someone who can bend 2" .125 steel - this place doesn't have equipment for that tight of a radius.

Why does it have to be stainless? Why not make it out of mild and deal with it getting scratched? The monetary savings would be enormous. You can prevent rust easily enough with steel black, paint, bed liner, etc.

:)

I'll probably just go with normal schedule 40 steel pipe.
