Hi again,
Im running a web server via XP pro, with Simple DNS plus.
I have run into a few problems:
1) When users view a page with a lot of graphics, after so many load up, no more load up.. you just see the outline and filename
2) The connection limit - When I had the MaxConnections at 10, I could load an html page, 9 images, and thats it.. any other images on the page did not load.. Does IIS consider each file a "connection"? I used metaedit to raise this value to 39(I guess this is as high as it will go in XP pro) and it seemed to help this problem. However, it I view various pages on my site, eventually the graphics will stop loading.
Any work around for the connection limit besides what I did for XP Pro?
3) Some people can get to my site.. I updated my Nameservers for all my domain names 2 weeks ago. I updated the actual Nameserver IP address 3 weeks ago. What happens is they type in the web address and IE hangs for about ten seconds before giving them an error saying it cant find the site. I use GraniteCanyon for a secondary DNS. Is this a problem with ISP's not updating their records?
Thanks
