any way to write on the right margins?

For an assignement, I need to write little symbols and marks on the right hand margin of my word document. Does anyone know if this is possible?

is there writing in the document already? and is it possible to print the document first, then assign the margins to the right hand side, the print over it?

depending on what you need, you could also try using a text box and move it to the right margin. Just make sure you dont make it to close to end of the page or the printer might cut it off, and dont forget to check it with a print preview or a test print.
