Any way to use my WAP54G linksys as an adapter?

Can I plug it into my computer via eth. cord and use it as I would with a PCI/USB wireless card?

WAP54G can be configured as an AP Client.

Read the manual for instruction.

Once it is configured and connects with a wire to a PC the PC see it as a regular wire connection.

May or may not be for use in Backtrack.

When configured as Client it is Wireless Driverless adapter that its output is standard Ethernet and it can work on any computer with OS that is compatible with Ethernet.
