Any way to use a Sony PlayStation 2 controller on my PC?

I'm wondering if anyone is selling some kind of adaptor that lets you use PS2 controllers on the PC.. those are really great gamepads. Everyone tries to emulate them, but no one comes close.

Thanks!

That'll do.. even the PS1 dual analog gamepad is nice. How/where did he get an adapter to convert from PS to USB?

Well, I don't think its possible but I have a Logitech Wingman rumblepad and besides the pressure sensitive buttons and a couple of shoulder buttons it works exactly like a PS2 pad(with a throttle thrown in for looks).

Should be pretty cheap too.

Yeah, but the ergonomics are totally different. PS1/PS2 controllers are the most comfy controllers I've ever laid hands on.

I did see a couple contenders that might be just as good though:

* Gravis Eliminator AfterShock
* Thrustmaster FireStorm Dual Power Gamepad

Thanks, Burn! The one at consolesource.com is the coolest, since I don't really care about N64 support.. and the rockfire site wasn't as well put together as the consolesource one.

Personally I would rather a Dreamcast to PC convertor myself. I really don't like the PS2 controllers (I bought an Interact thrid party controller for my PS2). The Dreamcast controller is the most comfortable thing I've ever held though.

The PS2 controllers I would think should work with the same adapter.... or does the presssure sensitivity screw that up?

EDIT: Console source also says PS2 controllers work with their adapter

wow! didn't know such a thing existed, and it's only $15!! does anyone know if it comes w/ software for customizing buttons to keyboard strokes?

and about the dreamcast ones, i dunno about a dreamcast->PC but they do make dreamcast->ps2 adapters so you can plug your own keyboard and mouse into the DC w/o having to get the dreamcast brand mouse and KB.
