Any way to unlock/mod Abit AV8?

If you know any info on unlocking or modding an ABIT AV8 mobo, please let me know.
It won't let me change the multiplier.

What type of processer? Most CPUs have locked multipliers.

Sorry Dimmy, Abit's glory days of "unlocking mulitpliers" are over with new processors. You can adjust down, but not above the "stock" multiplier.

To OC you need to play with the FSB and the HTT multiplier. See http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview...atid=28&threadid=1497607&enterthread=y for details.

Mind you, there is another option. If you have the money, you can buy an A64 FX processor, which is fully unlocked.
