Any way to undo a multiboot setup?

I currently have a very complicated boot system. My C drive is a maxtor with ME on it. It was my original OS. My D drive has 2000 on it, and my RAID array has XP installed on it. Right now I think I use the NTldr or whatever it is called to multi boot. What Id really like to do is format all but the XP drives. Is there anyway to do this w/o wipping my entire system?

Thanks

I have 2 win2k and 1 winme installs on my computer and it keeps the bootinfo in a file called boot.ini. It put it in my winme partition. You can format the drives but you must keep the boot.ini. Your XP Drives??? You seem to only have 1 XP partition. Its ok to format all the HDs except for the XP Drive but you must setup BIOS so that the it boots of the RAID Device 1st. No HDD-0,HDD-1,HDD-2 etc. Having a CDROM or floppy boot before the RAID drive is ok.

Well, what do you want to do after you format? Better yet, what is prompting you to format?

Theoretically, if you have WinXP boot media (CD or floppies) and the XP drivers for your RAID on floppy (unless the drivers come with WinXP), you should be able to restore/repair XP's boot environment after you format everything else. HOWEVER, ...

WinXP will still expect certain drive letters. At the very least, you had better make sure C: still exists elsewhere. I don't think you'll need to recreate your Win2K partition, just for the sake of having it there (are you calling it D:?). I think your WinXP partition's letter will remain what it is now.
