I got 2 bags of Marshmallows but I don't like them and don't want to eat them.

Is it possible melt the Marshmallows and turn them into the yellow creme for donuts?

If yes, how? Any one got recopies? What ingredients do I need?

You want to turn marshmallows into custard?

I'll just go look in my book of "Turning shit into totally different shit by, like, magic or something".

I think it's just between turning lead into gold and turning Kanye into not a douchbag.

Sorry I'm having a stressful morning.

No.

I mean add some extra ingredients like eggs / butters and turn it into cream, not straight conversion.

Not possible?

Milk, cream, egg yolks, flour, vanilla, mashmallows.

Boil the milk with the vanilla seeds, mix the egg yolks, sugar and flour.

Mix the hot milk with the eggy mixture whisking a LOT! Then gently heat it, still whisking A LOT!

Sieve, let it cool.

Whip the cream with a little sugar and fold it into the cold custard.

Throw away the marshmallows.

Pretty much what I was going to say.

OP what you are asking is impossible, no you cannot do it.
Maybe you could invent some new type of doughnut topping or filling but I think marshmallow will be too sweet & sticky to do it with.

What you are asking to do is akin to turning chicken soup into a pepperoni pizza.
Different ingredients with some similarities.

It would probably just be easier to drive to your local food shelf and drop the marshmallows off for donation.

Edit - also lots of stores and offices do food drives this time of year where you could donate them.

The Wal-Marts down here have started crumbling cookies on top of donuts. The most recent one I saw had gummy worms too. Which they were on the reduced/clearance rack so hopefully someone got the point about that being a terrible combination.

I'd say just put some marshmallows in the hole, stick it in the microwave for like 5 seconds (letting it melt and balloon up in size enough to fill the hole properly, then let it cool). You could call them jizzers. Or sell the idea to Marvel as some Spider-Man web Slingerz (get it, they're cooler with a z!).

Speaking of chicken and pizza, anyone tried the pizzas that used chicken (likely processed and formed like Subway does their grilled chicken) as the crust? I don't like chicken but I've been trying to get a family member to try it (they're diabetic so haven't been able to eat pizza much). Its kinda expensive but I bet it'd be more filling than the size would seem to indicate. I might try one of the cauliflower crust ones but eh, the bread is a part of why I enjoy pizza (usually).

Oh and one last thing tangentially relevant to this thread. I saw Hostess is making marshmallow and cocoa flavored donuts.

You can- Google marshmallow frosting. You basically make a custard and melt marshmallows into it with a double boiler (like you would do to make a chocolate ganache.)
