Any way to track HOST (IP) of WU's in SETI?...update: Yes if using OK's Q :o)

I'm going on vacation tomorrow and I think my SETIQ proxy has stopped at work or the IT department has blocked it, even though I have permission. I don't have remote access and was wondering if there is a link to view what IP's are submitting to SETI so that I can see if my SETIQ is submitting or not?

If not, I'll just call on Monday and have a coworker check it....I may have to hard code my firewall/proxy settings into the SETIQ to allow constant access to the internet...this would probably mean not dumping to OK anymore 🙁

Thanks in advance....

Oh, I'm leaving in 8 hours, and hopefully sleeping for a few of them, so I'll try to view any responses as quickly as possible...before I leave!

🙂

Have a great week everyone...I'll see you when I get back!

Well, I found it on OK's page under SETIQ stats and it hasn't uploaded anything to OK's for almost 24 hours...seems to have stopped at 12:30 am this morning...🙁

Not sure why.....🙁

I'll try to get it worked out on Monday! It has 62 WU's for the 9 PC's connected to it....it'll hold up for a little while, I hope!

Oh, and I must admit that the stats of OK's SETIQ are fantastic! 😀...especially the Q stats! WOW...a great help!

[EDIT: Was typing the below when you already replied to yourself - so you have your answer. 😉]

As far as I know, there's no way to view IPs at SETI themselves... Only email stats. And even then, due to some mess with crackers, they had stopped putting the email addresses in the user_info.sah files...

However, if you do have your queue pointed at OK's queue, you should be able to view his Setiqueue's web stats (you can point your browser to orangekid.teamanandtech.com:5001 - and it will display stats), to confirm whether you're flushing okay. By default, your stuff would show up as the hostname for the IP that you used for the queue machine -OR- the hostname that your queue picks up by going through a proxy server or NAT box.

Playing with SETIQ at home, I may have discovered that it may be working after all....

I noticed the connect time to 1:00am to 3:00am with an override checkmark on 0 WU's. If all is well, at 1:00 am, that sucker should kick in to high gear....I hope 😀
