Any way to tell what process is using a certain file??

it's an .avi movie sample, I can't delete it, even with dedicated apps.(eraser freeware)

Its says its in use by another process, I cannot figure out what. I have no media players or anything like it running, no torrent programs, no download managers.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Excellent suggestion, You can also try Unlocker and/or Killbox.

I have also been successful deleting these locked files through CMD.
