Any way to tell if HyperX is BH-5, CH-5, etc?

I have these sticks and I can't see the memory chips b/c of the heatspreaders. Is there anyway to tell what type of memory chips they are by looking at the sticker on the heatspreaders or through a program???

Hey man, with 2 overclocks like those, who cares which chips your memory has?:)

I thought BH-5 sticks ran @2.5volts and the CH-6 @2.6volts as noted on the stickers.

I think you're right. The old BH-5 Hyper-X was marked 2.5v and I think the newer CH-5 stuff is marked 2.6v.

Hope you're right. I own a stick of the HyperX PC2700 and it is marked as 2.5 volts. I always heard that it's CH-5 chipped though. It certainly doesn't like high volts, and can run at 200 Mhz FSB at relaxed timings.

If I am right, all HyperX PC2700 is NOT BH5. Only PC3000 and above has possibility of being BH5 as far as I know.

I have always heard that only certain PC-3000, the CAS2 PC3200, and the PC3500 are BH-5, and all the rest are relegated to "other" chips. I also was under the impression that the PC2700 WAS PC3000 (with CH-5 chips). CH-5 like low voltages, and loose timings as compared to BH-5 chips.

PC4000 is NOT BH5. And my 3000 is 2700 BH5 chips. listed 2.5v, CPUz sees it as 2700. Runs stable 2 2 2 6 up to DDR415.
