Any way to system repair with out windows CD

Only if you figure out a way to get the windows info that is on the CD on another medium.

EDIT: Then you would have to tell it to look at the other medium... not easy.

Hmm sucks cause im at school now and my lappy is fine but my pc is ****** which i game on and my windows CD is home

find some n00ber that got a new dell or something when they got to school and see if you can borrow an XP cd from them

Tried that but im off campus now so its getting tough to find someone with one, wonder if I will have to reformat or not

Maybe I missed somthing: If you do not have a Windows CD why would you reformat? You won't be able to install Windows. (I suppose you could install Linux or other OS, but that's a different issue.)

The comment about reformating was meant to mean after I obtained said CD
