Any way to stress test my new xbox 360?
I dont want to end up having it f*ck up in the middle 0f game play
If it matters i got the 175 watt premium

If it's going to break, it's going to break. Why not just enjoy it until then (if it even does)? Stress testing it doesn't sound like a good idea.

stand on top of it maybe add a jump or two if you're really concerned.

Throw it into the air over your filled bathtub while it's plugged in and you're inside the tub. Attempt to exit bathtub alive and see how much stress it causes you.

Seriously, you can't stress test it for the three red lights. It's assumed to be caused by broken solder due to thermal expansion/contraction, that takes time.

That's pretty much the long and short of it. Stress testing it wouldn't tell you much. They generally fail after a significant amount of use, not because of one session of intense use.

Edit: I laughed at most of the responses in this thread :laugh:

Edit 2: Good job on getting the 175 W. Hope you got some good games for it, and send me an invite on Xbox Live if you have a Gold membership. :)

Definitely will, i didnt have enough money so i just got halo 3

run it in your oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour, then put it into a tub of liquid nitrogen for 1 hour, then repeat until youre happy that your xbox has been sufficiently stress tested.
