Any way to speed up fan on CPU with an Asus mobo?

I have an i5 2500K at 4.5GHz on an Asus P8Z68-V\GEN3. I'm using a Cooler Master EVO 212+ CPU cooler.

Have you tried speedfan. Also better for your gpu fans msi afterburner?

Know this have consequenses.

That motherboard should have come with an AI Suite that includes the Fan Expert Tool. With Fan Expert you can do a User Program for each fan to control how it responds to temperature. I find it works very well.

or just plug the fan direct into psu
