is there any way to use office 2000 from another computer on the net (some kind of applicaion server)?

i don't want to install it on my digital audio work station as it uses about half a gig what is way so much space for this machine, as i'll only use it once in a while, but i would like to have the hcance to do it.

also i'll ad a little server on my network to do ics, file server, game server, etc, and i would like to run office from it too.

thanks in advance

Hmm.. you didn't mention what OS you used. I have Win2k Advanced Server running in Terminal Application mode. I installed MS Office on it and have 4 people from across the globe sharing the PC and it's apps.

I'm using win2k pro in the box that has office 2000 installed, and i want to share it with a win98se pc.
is there any way i can install that service on win2k pro?

If you're the only one using these machines. You might want to consider VNC. It functions similarly to the Win2000 Terminal server. It has a tiny execuatable as a client and is available in many platforms.

VNC

to get office 2000 to run on my win2k server with terminal services i had to download a installation/patch from microsoft to get other users to run it in terminal mode.

it was kinda a pain to install but i figured it out.
