any way to set IE to permanently show text as "larger"?

Are you using Eudora for email? Change your font size in Eudora and it will fix it in IE, too. I know because I had the same problem.

Then I went to Outlook and it's all good.

very strange...i am using Eudora, but I didn't ever change the default text size...
