any way to restore li-ion laptop battery to hold a full charge again?

I've tried the whole full charge and discharge many times, even sticking it in the freezer like some have said, with no luck

You have already done the cycling, so it is probably time to replace the battery. They do go bad. How old is the laptop? Batteries are covered under the first year of warranty with a lot of manufacturers.
