I had about 2 inches of ice on my winshield and, like an idiot, took a metal ice scraper to it and scraped the hell out of my front winshield. Is there any easy way to fix or cover-up the scratches?

Yes, go to your local Autobone, Poop Boys or Farts America and purchase a Permatex scratch removal kit, it comes with two buffing wheels and several buffing compounds.

So, Roger, would that then require a buffer? Or is it something that you could do by hand?

The kit contains a 3/8 arbor that chucks into your hand drill, the buffing wheels are held onto the arbor with velcro.

holy.... i just learned my lesson..... those f@gs ripped me off a big time. had to change my winshield a couple times.. those were about 300 bucks . they told me a minor scratch would grow over a period of time.
