Any way to remove (not disable) Windows 7 components: IE, Media Player, Language, etc

Hey guys -- I have a Win7 partition on my Mac for gaming and I'd like to keep the OS footprint as slim as possible. I'm trying to remove (as in, clear disk space) of all the crap I don't need in Win7. Is there a way to do this? I've tried searching, even spent about 3 hours trying to build an RT lite ISO with components removed and I ended up with a stock installation of Windows -- I'm not sure what I did wrong, but I'm not about to go through all that again.... Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers!

What part of the globe do you reside in? Maybe look for a Starter or Home Basic version?

Though on a second thought, those may not have a full DirectX support.
