Any way to reduce the sharpness of an LCD monitor?

I just bought a Samsung 244t 24" LCD and I find the image to be a bit too sharp. I'm a graphic designer and I find the colors to be great, but too sharp.

IS there a way to reduce the sharpness either through nvidia drivers or other software? There's no option for Sharpness in the OSD, god knows why.

I realize LCDs are naturally sharper than CRTs, but it's too much to me.

any help would be appreciated. thanks.

Um...odd question...but you can always reduce the resolution...which reduces the sharpness

You can reduce the gamma, and reduce the contrast, in the NV control panel. Basically you have all the needed controls to adjust the color to what you want to see.

frankly, i think it's just a matter of getting used to it. i have had an LCD for around a year and a half and most CRT's now seem dull. i like the crispness of an LCD. if you try PurdueRy's suggestion, just make sure that the resolution you choose is the same aspect ratio as the native resolution of the display so that there isn't any stretching otherwise it's going to look bad.
