I think I just killed my DFI NF4 Ultra Infinity. Ive been having some problems overclocking my x2 3800+, and I realized I didnt have the latest bios. I followed all the procedures to flash it correctly, and it asked me to reboot when it was finished. I did, and it never recovered. Ive been trying to clear the cmos, remove the battery, etc etc for a few hours now. I tried booting it with just one stick of ram, disconnecting most of my other devices, and all that kinda stuff. When I turn the comp on, all that happens is the fans spin and hte LEDs on the board come on. No picture, beeps or anything like that. Is there any way to recover the bios? Do I need to RMA? Any help is appreciated, Thanks!

If you cooked the bios, there is hope.

Some mobo makers offer replacement bios chips - or - piggy back chips (sorry, I forget the correct term) that allow you to get your PC up and running again.

Check with DFI to see what (if any) option they offer. Also try the DFI-Street forums..

I called up DFI, and there gonna send me out a new BIOS chip. Hopefully that will do the trick.
