Any way to prevent synchronization manager from starting?

I always wondered what that mobsync.exe /logon entry was in the startup. So I finally found that it was just about syncing offline files or whatever. Basically something I have no use for. But whenever I uncheck it from starting up, the next time I reboot a new entry always appears. I know it's probably next to nothing to load, and maybe I'm just OCD about sh*t starting up, but can I disable this damn thing all together??

Exactly. It is for when you are choosing to be able to view web content when you are offline.

It is useless to the average user and can be disabled quite easily. You can go into the registry or you can use most any tweak manager program that is out there.

The registry location should be (and there is a lot of other junk here):

hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run

Good luck!!!
