Any way to measure throughput of a router?

Tried searching but to no avail. I have Linksys BEFSR41 that I would like to graph/monitor total throughput. I tried using Praessler router traffic grapher, but I could not get it to work. My question: Is this something that has to be supported by the router and my lowly Linksys does not have this capability? I know I could route all net traffic through one comp and go from there but I would rather not do that. Thanks in advance!
