Any way to make a cisco router/pix connect in place of the software client?

Say a vendor has a vpn setup for us using the vpn client.


Any way for me to rig a pix or router to connect without them having to change anything?

totally depends on how that vpn concentrator is setup.

Of course it can be done, but normally you need to configure both sides of the VPN. A lan-2-lan VPN is different than a client-concentrator setup.
