Any way to kill commercials and other stupid crap in AIM?

I see that they now have commercials with audio that play in the damned thing. Any way to nuke the extra crap they throw in?

I bought DeadAIM to use at home. It's only $5 and it works great with slightly older versions of AIM. At work, I use Trillian. GAIM and Miranda are excellent alternatives too.

i use AIM ad hack.. http://aimadhack.webhop.net/ .. it does exactly wut u want, to get rid of the ads
