Any way to keep car windows from freezing up (and not opening)?

Even if they are not wet or it has not been snowing or there is no ice on them to be seen, as soon as temps get below freezing the windows are all stuck. This is particularly embarassing as I have to swipe into the parking lot at work - requiring me to get out of the car in a line-up to swipe. No one else ever seems to have this problem. I had it with my old Supra and now my new Accord.

Bad wiring or bad actuator? I used to have this problem where one of the car windows would intermittently not work--Problem lasted for a few years. The mech said it'd cost $400 to replace the power window motor-thingy! I said I can live with it :p The problem has since disappeared on its own . . .

No, it's not that they dont work...they are "trying" to move, they just seem to be frozen shut. I think it has to do with the little rubber strip thingy at the base of the window. After driving for a while when the car is warmed up they start working again.

Try cleaning them with Rain-X

It seems to make ice less "sticky" to the glass.

EagleOne 20/20 glass cleaner also has the same effect.
