Any way to go photograph airplanes at SFO or SJC without homeland security assaulting me?

Well I called SJC, they said hit the observation deck which was a bad idea, it's in the middle of the airport. I guess my goal is end of the runway type action, but I'm sure they're paranoid of people skulking about the perimeter. I don't feel like getting shot, thanks god my lens is white not gun-black. :p

I tried that, all I hear is "bababooey" and "it's better than rejuviantion" when i wear it. It's quite distracting.

long robes and elaborate towel headgear will let them know you're an arteest, not a terrorist

Now that I think about it, driving home on the 380 to 101 and there was a plan taking off directly at my car and I thought "man I should just pull over and snap pics."

as long as you're taking photos from public property you're okay.

don't be bullied by the Thought Police.

in SJC, they land directly over 880, so you could probably park across the freeway and catch them coming in. also, you can catch planes coming in to Oakland from spots out in San Lorenzo, though you might want a zoom lens.

A swarthy complexion, tons of body hair, and lack of deodorant will help too.
