My MD player has a sync function that detects audio from the input line, and i'm recording songs from winamp onto it right now. But it will only stop the current track and goto the next track if there has been no audio for 3 seconds. Is there a way to get winamp to stop that or create a audio file that plays nothing (hopefully that would work) for 3 seconds

Download the GoldWave demo from download.com and make a 3 sec long file to put between each song. It seems like there should be an easier way though.

[EDIT] You can choose manual playlist advance under winamp options, but then you couldn't just let it run. Probably just find that plugin (I didn't thawolfman's post before posting) [/EDIT]

yeah I was doing manual playlist advance, but I hated coming back every 4 minutes to change the song, doing this for a 74 minute Minidisk. I'm gonna try out the gapless thing now, thx for the help

Hm, the gapless plugin only eliminates the gap, not creates one :) Either that or i'm missing something.

You can put a blank wave file that's 3 seconds long between every song on the playlist.
