Any way to get the icon of the cd in your drive to appear in my computer?

In win 98, if you had a cd in your drive, you could open up my computer and hit refresh and the icon of the cd in the drive and name would come up next tot he drive name. now in xp, if i hit refresh, nothing comes up..no name or anything. anyway to enable this?
