Any way to get temp cell w/o dishing out $20+???

I had Alltel but I disconnected it, I still have their phone. They use TDMA non-sim card phones. Now, I already ordered a cell of Amazon, but they are taking a week to ship it. Anyway for me to get a temporary cell or something!??!?!?
