Any way to get rid of illegal, untraceable spam?

Hello. In the past few months I've been getting an increasing amount of untracable spam--spam e-mails that are usually all text or one or two images, have a couple to a bunch of e-mail addresses similar to mine in the to and CC boxes, have misspelled titles or random letter words in them, and have phony "remove me" links. Is there any way to stop this crap? It's becoming increasingly annoying. Yes, I know to refrain from clicking many of the remove-me links, since that just confirms the address.

Thanks for the help.

EDIT - the from line is a random e-mail address, so it's not like blocking it would do anything, since it'll come from a different address next time.

Most spam is traceable. Check your headers..

If you don't know how to do that, post how you're viewing your mail. (Website/Outlook/Eudora etc..)

When I mean untraceable, I mean there's nothing I know how to do to stop it. I'll check into Bayesian. I'm using Outlook--that OK?

You just have to be careful with your email address. My parents get tons of spam but I get maybe 1 piece of junk mail a day.

Well that doesn't help me now...

heh... but actually, whenever I think they might give my name out (even though they say they don't), I fill out a yahoo account I use just for that, and I get 75+ e-mails per day in it. My regular account, though, I've kept clean.

Well, I didn't until a few months ago. My college also sells my name to advertisers, but it'll be tough to get rid of those.

I don?t think managing the distribution of your address does any good anymore with spammers with these address generators that they now use. The Bayesian filter works well after you train it but you will still get some false positives. Mailwash is a alternative to get your mail without having to download all the mail and having it filtered.
