Any way to get Pinnacle Studio DV software to work with Audigy firewire port?

I sold the card from my Studio DV kit thinking that the software wouldn't care WHAT firewire port it was using. Well, apparently that's not the case..it wants to see the card that came with the kit. Everyone else in the world probably knew that but me

Is there any way to get around this?
