In Recode, you have to go to into this sort of properties window for each file to turn off crop so that it doesn't crop off like half of your video. It'll usually only do it for a handful of files, but unless you disabled it beforehand, or checked every file, you'll end up out somewhere with the 4:3 version of a previously 16:9 TV show, but the problem is many times it'll be the left or right half as opposed to the center (which would be so bad).
I would like to know if anyone has a solution, either to disable the crop option as a batch setting for all the files at one time, or to set the default to off.
