don't need a server version except for the vpn connections. any other way to do it on a xp machine? need more than 1 vpn connection, any way around it?

also don't want to be forced to have to buy all the other "server" versions of software that having 2k3 server will require when xp pro will more than suffice.....

My first thought is to create a new network connection for each VPN you need to connect to.

So... you created a new network connection and it didn't show up in Network Connections?

Can you just use Hamachi? Or put in a low-end VPN hardware router or something with a full version of DD-WRT?

correct, did it just like i did the first one and only was there??

this is my problem:
The Windows XP Professional remote access server capabilities are very similar to those available in Windows 2000 Professional. A Windows XP computer can accept a single incoming connection on each interface that can accept a connection. For example, a Windows XP machine can accept incoming connections on each of the following interfaces:

Dial-up modem serial interface
Infrared interface
Parallel port interface
VPN interface

all of mine need to be vpn....
