I'm thinking of using a 27" tv and Radeon 7000 at work for a low budget alternative to data projectors in a classroom. The trouble is, I have never seen good readable text quality on tv out yet. (although I haven't seen much).
I saw a guy testing out tv out with a 7000 at a vendor the other day and I wasn't impressed. I realise it will never look anything as clear as a proper monitor, but I would like to find something readable at a mid distance.
Without getting an HDTV (defeats the purpose) is there any way to optimise tv out quality. I assume a decent quality tv is a part of it, but what else can be done? Am I barking up the wrong tree here?
