Any way to get around Parental control on PS2?

a friend and i just bought a ps2 from another person at school and we can't get it to play a dvd because of parental control ....is there any way to like reset the password or anything like that?

I'm almost positive there is a universal key, but I don't know it offhand.

eh lol...that sucks 4 now...im guessing theres a way, call sony and ask...or look for a small reset button or somthing mabey?

well you need the password from the guy who sold it to you first, but you can change it in the dvd settings...don't remember specifics...check in the manual, i've done it before...one of my friends accidently se the parental control and i just turned it off
