Any way to get AIM narrated on PC like on MAC??

OK heres the deal.
I was playing around with a friends new mac laptop and when she is using AIM she can actually make the computer say whatever is in the conversation dialogue box.
So, whenever someone sends her an IM the computer will read the text out loud.
This seems very handy if you're not looking at the screen.

Question: is there any way to get this feature for AIM on PC?

yes but it requires the right software. in windows xp pro with the plus! addins you can do it but not well!

Sure, there are lots of programs out there that read blocks of text and can be triggered whenever someone says something to read what they say. I remember a mac reading whatever I typed back in 2nd grade on the old Apple Mac Classics.

I'm looking for an AIM program also. A spell checker for my friend. God, he is horrible.
