Any way to get a vortex1 to work in an abit KT7A-Raid??

I've tried every single pci slot, with only the AGP Radeon in there, and it locks every single time I try and install drivers for it. This is in Win2k btw. Any ideas?? Thanx.
 
Vortex has compatibility problems with the Via Amd chipset.🙁

Your best bet is to sell it & buy a Sblive value.
 
Hmm.. I've got a KT7-Raid and a OEM Vortex2 Superquad working perfectly does EAX and A3D fine with the newest drivers. This is under 98SE though. I'll be installing win2k soon. Let ya know how it goes...

Well I had a problem at first with my wifes comp and vortex advantage card. She has the MSI Pro2a. I downloaded and installed the updated drivers and it works like a charm. Sounds good also. www.vortexofsound.com
