I've got some training videos that we had to download for HR. Got about 98% of the way there and lost the connection. Can't get it to go the full way.

WMP won't open it. Any way to get it working without the full download?

I've always just "double clicked" to play a partially DL'ed MPEG. It won't play if the file is being written to though. So if I want to do that, I just copy and paste it somewhere else, and then double click.

I was downloading an MPG last night (not pron) and it slowed down and froze at 75%. I went and played it while the DL was frozen.

I can't seem to get it working. Copy & paste didn't do much either.

Hmph...I get an error message in WMP, but the help files for it are useless. I'll just have to contact the site host and see if I can have them check the source file.

Could the mpg be in mpg2 format? I don't think WMP can play mpg2. I have never had a problem playing partial mpgs.
