Any way to get a laptop with SSD at a reasonable price?

My manager just authorized me to get a second laptop for field testing but asked that I keep it around $500. We have nice $1000 laptops already so I can't expect another really nice one.

Having used SSD's exclusively the last 3 years I can't stand the thought of a notebook with a platter drive. I know I could get the $500 laptop, drop $80 of my own money for a 120GB SSD and call it a day but I'd rather not have to dip into my pockets to do so. All I really need is a 64GB SSD for Win7 and a few pieces of software. However, my searches have come up empty, big time. I can't seem to find any laptops with SSD's under a grand, which is a damn shame. I can't go used or buy from ebay as this will go on my corporate card and have to be approved by her and most likely my director.

So, am I SOL? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Look what is available in cheap Ultrabooks at the Microsoft Store? Might be able to find something there with an SSD around $600 (guessing).

This one of the things about laptops that really doesn't make much sense. Good 128 GB SSD's can be had for less than 100$ but if you option any laptop from any manufacturer with an SSD of any kind it adds at least 200$ to the price.
