any way to force portrait apps into landscape mode?

im using 3CX, the voip app, in the house. it only works in portrait mode.
the tablets mounted around the house are in landscape mode. they have 3cx on them to be used as an intercom sys in the house.
because the app is only in portrait mode, it looks 90degrees tilted on the tablet. is there any way to make the 3cx app more tablet friendly as seen here?

it does work for half a second. the app re-arrange 3cx into landscape mode, filling up the whole screen, looking really good. but 3cx really really wants to be in portrait mode. so your app and 3cx keeps fighting among themselves to re-arrange things back n forth with no end in sight.

maybe contact dev and have them allow landscape mode. I can't think of any other way
