any way to force close processes run under system ? win10

kaspersky was going a bit weird and tried to close to reopen but was still running in background. had to reboot to resolve and ended up losing a few days worth of work.

i don't want to kill windows tasks but there must be a way to kill system processes? i mean you can mess with system access in regedit.

that just brings up task manager no? i always have it set to more details anyway.

I find the later versions of Kaspersky very limiting and very controlling (it does what it wants to do, and you can't select options). My advice in your case would be to switch to a different AV.

thinking about it but it's free with my bank account for 5 licences.

thanks, but I already have that. feels microsoft is locking down on their OS in a way I hate. unlockers used to work great but now they don't seem to work either. having to dismount a drive and remount it to delete a file is ludicrous. ah well. I had to reboot in the end. C'est la vie
